Hello, I’m the designer and seamstress behind The Crafty CAT.

A mum of 6 now adult children and grandma to 7. I’ve been creating quality clothing for many years. I like my garments to be durable, practical, and fun to wear.

The Crafty CAT is a small boutique business run from my home in Gore, New Zealand.

All garments are handmade with love.

With qualifications in design and patternmaking the majority of my creations are my own patterns.

Totally unique, made to highest standards using industrial machines.

The Crafty CAT came about as the love of creating was rekindled by the arrival of grandchildren.

Inspired further by advances in digital fabric printing I source my exquisite knits from around the world and locally.

Using sustainable nontoxic Natural Fibres including cotton and merino knits.

Specialising in custom and one-off pieces.

I believe everyone is unique, what better way to express yourself than through creative fashion made just for you.
